Magnolia
Manor Filming Location
Magnolia Manor has been
featured by Our State Magazine in a documentary film about historic
Warrenton, NC and has promoted by North Carolina Weekend as a
wonderful way to get away for a weekend. Magnolia Manor and the
Carvers have also been featured in several local newspaper articles.
Magnolia Manor is a
respectfully rehabilitated Plantation Manor House that was originally
built in 1855. The Manor House sits atop a picturesque knoll
with 360 degree vistas of rolling farm land. There are no other
structures in sight of the house except the old barn that has also
been rehabilitated. The rehabilitation has spanned a ten year
period and was conducted in a manner so that the grounds appear much
in the same way as they did in 1855 without the addition of any modern
amenities such as swimming pools, telephone poles, new buildings, etc.
Magnolia Manor has hosted
many weddings for brides who appreciate the ambiance of the 1800's and
has become a rather significant destination wedding venue.
We welcome the opportunity to share this treasure and we are certain
the location will continue to be of significant interest to the film industry.
