We are currently in our eighth year of hosting weddings following five years of respectful rehabilitation of the Manor House. We have enjoyed all aspects of the journey enormously. The rehabilitation of the Manor House was a once in a life-time experience that was rewarding for many reasons, including the quality time we were able to spend with our children as they most willingly assisted with the renovation. Once the renovation was completed, our children were for the most part grown and out on their own. We then faced the challenge of building a business. Working with our guests and brides, we learned very quickly that while Magnolia Manor is a tremendous Plantation Manor House with inviting grounds perfect for weddings and special events, what our brides wanted most was stress-free service. Most of them were way too busy to devote the time required to plan a wedding. Our total package approach has been sought after as it takes all the stress out of planning for the big day. | ||||

Since we began hosting weddings in 2003 we have many more wonderful
experiences and happy brides than we could ever communicate in this
website. The following are but a few of the parting thoughts our
brides have left for us. We are pleased to able to share them with
you and we would be honored to host your special day too!. |

| Our weekend wedding was an incredible experience that family and friends still mention each time we get together. Magnolia Manor really set the bar! Attention to every detail from the fresh pressed antique linens to the unbelievable breakfasts. Our ceremony and reception were magical enjoyed by all in attendance. My flowers for myself and wedding party were more than I ever dreamed and the carriage house became magical wrapped in twinkle lights and candles! Sheila and Larry and staff were there for my friends, family and I every step of the way! Staying in the historical manor house was a memory for a lifetime. Every bride should be so lucky! | |||||

| I chose Magnolia Manor Plantation because of the outdoor location, but I had no idea I was planning my fairytale wedding! It truly was more beautiful and amazing than I ever expected. I only gave a few of my preferences and Sheila (the innkeeper and planner) rolled with it to go above and beyond. Staying the weekend there was stress-free and so easy on both families. Breakfast was also awesome! All the guests had an amazing time and my nephews still ask me about going back to swing on the rope swing and run through the pecan orchard. A true southern experience, from the wonderful food cooked for the rehearsal/wedding reception to the guests, some in their southern belle hats and others dancing barefoot on the floor! Did I mention the horse-drawn buggy? I could talk for hours. Such a special place for such a special day. Highly recommended! | |||||

Thank you so much for giving my daughter her perfect wedding. Everything from the cake and flowers to the food was exceptional – and, of course, the house and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Our friends and family have not stopped talking about it yet. Several of the guests shared with me that it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. You and Larry were so accommodating and easy to work with. You made the day even more special by eliminating the stress and allowing us to simply enjoy ourselves. Again, thank you. | From the moment I met you, Sheila and Larry, I knew that I wanted to have my wedding at Magnolia Manor. I could tell from day 1 that good ole southern hospitality was alive and well at Magnolia Manor. You, Sheila, were attentive to my every need, listened carefully when I had questions, and often gave me good advice, based on your abundance of experience, about what would make my big day extra special. You both truly made me feel like I was the only bride you had to take care of for the entire summer. The food not only looked too good to eat, but it was also absolutely fabulous. Guests still come up to me now 2 months after the wedding and tell me how wonderful the food tasted. I am truly delighted by how everything turned out on the wedding day. Thank you Sheila and Larry for making the whole wedding process so easy for Tracy. Because of you and your capable staff I was able to relax and enjoy the day and not worry about anything. When Tracy had questions you always answered them politely and quickly while giving sound advice based on your years of experience. The wedding ceremony was so elegant under the big oak tree, our friends are still coming up to us telling us what a beautiful wedding it was. The reception was so delightful. Everyone there had a great time eating the delicious food, especially the garlic cream cheese chicken, dancing and socializing. Magnolia Manor is the only place to have a great outdoor wedding and reception. Thank you for making Tracy's big day so special. |

| Thank you, thank you, thank you for a fabulous wedding weekend!!!! It exceeded our wedding dreams by a million, trillion percent!! It was everything we could have asked for and so much more! God answered our prayers when he sent us a breeze right when the ceremony started...and he held the rain off for us too, unbelievable! You are now a part of our lives and we will never forget you! We plan to visit again, maybe for an anniversary! You all are special people and truly make couple's dreams come true! Now we are off to Key West for 6 days and then to a lifetime of love and happiness! The food, the fun, the music, the service, the beds and the love are with us always....we love you all. | |||||

| Thank you for the perfect ambiance, the perfect beautiful backdrop, the perfect service and perfect hospitality for our wedding. It was exactly what exactly what I had wanted and envisioned - not an easy task to match reality with a bride's vision. But you all did it with grace and friendliness.
